Staff Nurse required for leading charity based in Aylesford, Kent. up to £19.25/hr, Full Time Days/Nights

Set in the picturesque town of Aylesford, my client is recruiting a Staff Nurse to work in it's Nursing Home. The grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful, tranquil environment. The successful candidate will be flexible and willing to go that extra mile to ensure the highest level of care is provided for the residents.

You will be providing care for the elderly, that will include Dementia, Mild Mental Health, Physical and Sensory Impairment. My client provides all terms of care, from Long Term to Respite. At times you will be expected to fill the role of Unit Manager, some some senior experience is desirable.

You will be putting together treatment plans and overseeing a team of care assistants. The successful Staff Nurse will have excellent clinical leadership skills.

My client offers ongoing training, and has excellent development opportunities for the right candidate.

Staff Nurse Skills and Responsibilities
  • Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
  • Wound management
  • Administering oxygen
  • Putting together treatment plans
  • Overseeing a team of care assistants
  • Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Staff Nurse Requirements
  • Hold a relevant nursing qualification
