Staff Nurse required for a family run Nursing Home in Morden, Surrey. Excellent rates of pay, superb benefits - £18/hr

Job Setting
I am currently recruiting a Nurse to work in a family owned, well managed Nursing Home in Morden. This is one of two homes my client manages. Been family run means that the Directors work closely with all the staff, creating a "togetherness" and great working atmosphere.

The Home Manager truly believes that a team led with respect creates the best environment for the staff and Residents alike. With a separate team purely dedicated to running activities for the residents, my client aims to motivate their residents to pursue interests and hobbies. You will share my clients passion for care, and meet the high standards in place.

My client provides care to its 30+ elderly residents, most of whom will have some form of Dementia. The successful candidate will have some experience in this field, and be passionate about Elderly care. The home also has some high dependency resident, offering quite an interesting clinical role to the right candidate.

You will be putting together treatment plans and overseeing a team of care assistants. The successful Staff Nurse will have excellent clinical leadership skills. The role requires the successful Nurse to be fully flexible working days and nights, with 36 or 48 hours per week.

My client offers ongoing training, and has excellent development opportunities for the right candidate.

Staff Nurse Skills and Responsibilities
  • Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
  • Wound management
  • Administering oxygen
  • Putting together treatment plans
  • Overseeing a team of care assistants
  • Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team
