My client requires a dedicated Staff Nurse (RMN/RGN) to work within a beautiful nursing home set in a quiet location in its own grounds in Ipswich. My client provides nursing services for elderly people, as well as offering specialised services for elderly people who have mental health needs.
You would be working alongside the care home's qualified staff, helping to provide a service that helps residents maintain their chosen lifestyle, adapting it to them for when their needs change. The service does provide a varied range of social activities, to enhance its residents quality of life. This is one of the many ways in which this home, looks to ensure its residents get the best form of personalised care possible!
So therefore the successful candidate will need to have excellent and relevant clinical skills and a naturally caring approach to be in-keeping with the ethos of this care home.
Staff Nurse Skills and responsibilities
- Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
- Wound management
- Administering oxygen
- Putting together treatment plans
- Overseeing a team of care assistants
- Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Staff Nurse Requirements
- Hold a relevant nursing qualification
- Be registered with the NMC
