A full time Staff Nurse is required within an award winning Nursing Home in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Paying up to £17.51 per hour (paid breaks) Both Days & Nights available. Awarded OUTSTANDING by the CQC!

Job Setting
A well established client of mine is requiring a dedicated and hard working Staff Nurse to work within one of their beautiful award winning nursing home in Basingstoke, Hampshire. My client provides 1st class nursing services to the elderly residents at the home that are suffering with dementia. The desired candidate will look to have a wide range of excellent clinical skills going forward and a hands on approach to all the residents within the home which will reflect on the highest standard of care to all residents.

Staff Nurse Skills and responsibilities
  • Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
  • Wound management
  • Engage in nurse care planning and implementation of care plans
  • Work closely with other members of the care team, ensuring that high quality care is given
  • administer and order medicines as required in accordance with residents needs
  • Administering oxygen
  • Putting together treatment plans
  • Overseeing a team of care assistants
  • Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Staff Nurse Requirements
  • Hold a relevant nursing qualification
  • Be registered with the NMC
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent understanding of DoLS/MCA
  • Excellent understanding of administration of medication
  • Have satisfactory references
  • Have the right to work in the UK
