Dedicated Staff Nurse required in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire. Paying up to £41,000 per annum with both days & nights available, 48 can be accommodated . Rated GOOD by the CQC.

Job Setting
One of the UK's leading healthcare organisations requires a hard-working Staff Nurse to work within one of their purpose built nursing homes in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire. My nationwide client provides 1st class nursing services to their elderly residents who are suffering with Dementia.

The desired candidate will be Leading, motivating and mentoring to the team and delivering clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home. Also, Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents. Finally most importantly, taking responsibility for the well-being of the residents of the home. Making sure their physical and social needs are met.

Staff Nurse Skills and responsibilities
  • Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
  • Wound management
  • Medication Management
  • Administering care plans
  • Administering oxygen
  • working closely with other nurses on the floor
  • Putting together treatment plans
  • Overseeing a team of care assistants
  • Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Staff Nurse Requirements
  • Hold a relevant nursing qualification
  • Be registered with the NMC
  • Have satisfactory references
  • Have the right to work in the UK
