Unit Manager required in Winsford, Cheshire , £18.50/hr, 40.00 hours p/w

Unit Manager Overview:
The role is for a Unit Manager to lead our 29 bedded unit.

You will oversee the care of every resident in your area of the care home and ensure that the day to day running of the care aspects of the home accords with management policies, quality systems and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

You will need to assess the individual physical, mental and social needs of residents and ensure that they receive the highest standards of personal care and attention appropriate to their needs. You will also need to be confident and experienced in leading a team of staff.

Job Setting
This Home is a purpose built 65 bedded nursing service that focuses on supporting people with enduring mental health needs.

The service can support people at all levels of the Mental Health spectrum of need, focusing primarily on people with enduring mental health conditions that require a specialist and caring environment to meet their ever-changing needs.

The team of both Mental Health and General nurses ensure that a holistic approach is taken when assessing individual needs. This skill mix ensures that not only can we monitor and respond to a person's ever changing mental health but we can also ensure that a person's physical health is clinically monitored and given the same level of attention.

Unit Manager Requirements
Hold a relevant nursing qualification
Be registered with the NMC
Have satisfactory references
Have the right to work in the UK
