Neuro Rehabilitation service requires a Staff Nurse required in York, North Yorkshire

Job Setting
This specialist Neuro Centre is purpose built with 25 ensuite bedrooms caring for patients who normally stay at the service for 100 days to help them to return back into independent living. Hospitals NHS FoundationTrusts and the Humber Coast and Vale STP, work with the service to deliver high quality intensive neurological rehabilitation, physical, cognitive, functional and vocational assessments, behavioural management and complex disability assessments for adults.

The team supports patients with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, severe neurological conditions, complex stroke and spinal cord injury. They can undertake SMART assessments for patients with Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDoC) and create bespoke treatment plans.

The service has been through major changes to improve the service from the management all the way how the nursing team and other professionals provide care for the residents at the service. This will ensure the most effective way of rehabilitating adults and allow them to live independently.
