Night Nurse Manager required in St Helens, Merseyside, up to £18.75/hr, up to 48 hours p/w

Health Recruit Network are proud to be working in partnership with a leading Luxury Care Home provider to recruit for a Deputy Manager for their beautiful new home in St Helens, Merseyside.

As the Deputy Manager, you will support the delivery of the quality care that this care provider is known for throughout the home. Working closely with the General Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to help with everything from care standards to motivating your team. You'll inspire a multi-disciplinary team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life. That means leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and checking our regulatory compliance. You'll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that will help you achieve your goals.

About you
As the Deputy Manager you'll need be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (RGN). Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important too, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.

We'll also look for some HR experience, some commercial knowledge of sales and marketing would be really beneficial, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. Finally, you'll be compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Home Manager in the running of the home
  • Recruiting new staff members
  • Management of all staff
  • Supernumerary hours allocated
  • Ongoing development and training of nursing team
  • Monitoring patient care across the home

Interview Process
The interview process will be in a two stage format.

Stage One - Remote or Face to face interview with the General Manager.

Stage Two - Formal interview with the Regional operations Director and another member of the Senior Management team.

Essential Requirements
  • Good leadership experience
  • Experience in running a team of nurses.
  • Exposure to safeguarding & CQC
  • Genuine Passion for elderly and dementia care
  • Nurse qualified - RGN, RMN or RNLD
  • Active NMC Pin
