Job Setting
This Outstanding CQC service requires a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to work within their specialist service in Nottinghamshire.

This therapy-drive institution provide nursing services to both male and female adults who have a primary mental health diagnosis or often behaviours which may challenge, who have stepped down from hospital care. Also who may have a secondary diagnosis of learning disability or neuro-developmental disorders, and who may have a forensic and substance misuse history.

You will work with like-minded colleagues, as part of a multi-disciplinary in-house team, to provide the highest standards of nursing care for the residents. Their Nursing/Support Worker ratio is amongst some of the best in the UK, with this home's average ratio being 6 Support Workers to every Nurse, and one nurse to ten service users.

Due to their uniquely high staffing levels there will always be another nurse on site as well as a clinical lead, so you can be assured the absolute best level of support as you embark on your nursing journey.

Senior Staff Nurse Skills and Responsibilities
  • Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
  • Wound management
