Deputy Manager required in Bradford, West Yorkshire, up to £19.50, Days, 36 hours per week

Job Setting
Deputy role is to support Registered Manager, Deputise as Manager when needed, able to audit, do supervisions, supervise care staff and support qualified staff.

This home is rated Good with CQC & they have a good relationship with the local authority. They also have an established team of very experienced staff.

They are looking for a highly motivated Deputy Manager with strong leadership skills to oversee a lovely nursing & residential home that is privately owned. You will be required to maintain high standards of care delivery and ensure that the home adheres to CQC legislation.

Job Overview
  • Experience managing an elderly care home or are wanting to move forward from a Deputy Manager's position
  • Must have solid clinical skills and have the ability to administer medication, complete audits, assess new residents and must understand compliance.
  • People Management Skills and experience of leading and mentoring a team.
  • Care planning and experience in Dementia Care
  • Up to date knowledge of CQC legislation and standards of practice.
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to market the care home and fill the rooms.

Essential Requirements
  • Hold a nursing qualification (RGN preferably)
  • Have 6 months experience in a similar capacity
  • Be registered with the NMC
  • Be passionate about Dementia care
  • Have satisfactory references
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Management qualification desirable
