Deputy Home Manager required in New Malden, Surrey, £45,000 per annum, 40 hours per week

Job Overview
As our Deputy Manager, you will ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of the individual resident, whilst monitoring and maintaining these standards. You will assisting with the management of the homes staffing, financial and material resources, including involvement in staff recruitment and selection. In this integral role you will leading and facilitating in staff and residents' meetings, staff training and development activities and take responsibility for the running of the Home in the absence of the Acting Home Manager.

Essential Requirements
We are ideally seeking a qualified Nurse with a current pin who is seeking their next step in their career to management level. If not, you will at least hold an RQF level 4 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care. You will have strong team management experience, relevant experience of working and supervising staff within a care home, excellent communication and administration skills, and an ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workload. ,All candidates must have an excellent understanding of the needs of older people with dementia.

The successful applicant will be appointed subject to providing evidence of NHS COVID PASS, ISA first and enhanced DBS disclosure. This post is not subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
