Location: Swindon
Hours: Full Time (38 hours per week)
Salary: £28,000 per year DOE
We are seeking a RVN to join our friendly and supportive team in Swindon. This role is ideal for a newly qualified or early-career nurse who is passionate about animal care and eager to develop their skills within a well-established, independent practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all Schedule 3 skills and competencies expected of a qualified RVN
- Conduct consultations for small animal species in line with practice protocols
- Support the supervision and training of ANAs where required
- Participate in inpatient care and various procedures
- A particular interest in anaesthesia would be beneficial
- Take responsibility for designated nursing areas as required
- 3 or 4 days per week, 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday minimum)
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Participate in 1 weekly evening check and 1 in 6 weekend on-call duties (based on rota)
- Take part in at least 1 Bank Holiday on-call per year
