Healthcare Assistant to become an integral part of our outstanding clinic located Heart of London. Joining our dynamic team, you will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our fertility and gynaecology clinic.
Responsibilities as a Fertility Healthcare Assistant:
• Perform essential assessments, including measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Safely collect, label, and dispatch specimens to external laboratories, including phlebotomy duties, following clinic Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Administer medications and treatments under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients throughout their journey.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic life support and maintain composure during emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Conduct venepuncture and interpret blood results when necessary.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist in patient discharge and follow-up care.
• Actively engage in training and educational programs as required.
Requirements for a Fertility Healthcare Assistant:
• Hold an NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Possess previous experience in a clinical setting.
- Phlebotomy is Desirable
• Showcase exceptional teamwork abilities.
• Exhibit keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrate effective task prioritization and time management capabilities.
• Have knowledge of infection control procedures.
