Your role as a Fertility Nurse entails:
• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, encompassing vigilant medication monitoring, precise blood tests, and comprehensive ultrasounds.
• Conducting thorough fertility assessments and diagnostic tests, including semen analysis and blood work, and actively contributing to result interpretation.
• Guiding patients through treatment options, elucidating potential risks and benefits.
• Collaborating seamlessly with physicians, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Empowering patients with knowledge about fertility concerns and treatment protocols, inclusive of the administration of fertility medications.
• Proficiently administering injections, both subcutaneous and intramuscular.
• Assisting in pivotal procedures such as egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and other fertility treatments.
• Upholding impeccable patient records and meticulous documentation practices.
• Pursuing ongoing education and training to remain well versed in the latest fertility treatments and cutting-edge technologies.
• Ensuring that all patient care strictly adheres to the clinic's established policies and procedures.
Fertility Nurse Requirements:
• Possession of Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrated prior experience in the specialized field of fertility nursing.
