Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and friendly environment? We have an exciting opportunity at our surgery for an RVN to join our team, offering a competitive salary of £29k - £32k, depending on experience.

What We Offer:
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rotating rota. Earliest start at 8 am and latest finish at 8 pm, with no out-of-hours or on-call work. Just 1 in 5 weekends!
  • Equipment: Work with high-quality equipment, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, on-site lab, multiparameter monitor, isolation unit, and separate cat & dog wards.
  • Diverse Duties: Rotate between medical and surgical patients, assist vets in prep and theatre, manage pre- and post-op care, stock control, pharmacy, and in-house lab work.
  • Career Growth: We’re a training practice, so if you’re a clinical coach or aspiring to be one, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to guide student nurses.
  • Location: Conveniently located near a London tube station, with local bus routes and free on-site parking.
Key Responsibilities: As an RVN, your role will include:
  • Inpatient Care: Providing top-notch nursing care for hospitalized patients, monitoring their progress and administering treatments.
  • Surgical Assistance: Supporting vets during procedures, monitoring anesthesia, and managing patient recovery post-op.
  • Client Consultations: Offering advice on preventive healthcare, conducting nurse-led clinics, and educating clients on pet care.
  • Diagnostic Support: Performing lab tests, assisting with imaging such as X-rays and ultrasounds, and ensuring accurate patient records.
  • General Nursing: Handling pharmacy duties, stock control, and maintaining a clean, organized environment to support the smooth running of the practice.
