About the Role:
Within this role you will work on our busy 15 bed in-patient unit providing specialist palliative care for pain and symptom management and end of life care, duties include:
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care using evidence based guidelines
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team over service user care
• Maintain all records in line with corporate policies and procedures
• Carry out all clinical procedures in line with policies
• Ensure the care team provide all care in line with the multi professional evidence based care plan

- Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
- Wound management
- Administering oxygen
- Putting together treatment plans
- Overseeing a team of care assistants
- Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Staff Nurse - Inpatients Requirements
- Hold a relevant nursing qualification
- Have satisfactory references
- Have the right to work in the UK
- To be an NMC registered nurse, ideally with post-registration experience in palliative end of life care
- A compassionate and people-centred approach
- Excellent communication skills
