Registered Vet Nurse - Up to £30,000 - Hinckley

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends, a day off in lieu, and no OOH.

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking team member who is friendly and enjoys working in a team environment. Someone who has a keen interest in animal welfare and prioritizes patient care. An all-rounder nurse who is competent in all nursing duties.

Our team consists of 5 vets (and a visiting referral orthopaedic vet), 5 qualified nurses, three ACAs, and 2 student nurses, all of whom bring a variety of experience and knowledge, along with a supportive team of receptionists.

Our practice has all the usual equipment and has been built to industry-leading standards.

We encourage our nurses to do what they trained for: placing catheters, taking bloods, nurse consults, inpatient care, FNAs, radiography, and schedule 3 procedures. We have nurses on ultrasound courses this year and support any further training that improves patient care and utilizes nurses' skills.

The salary offered will be dependent on what you can offer us. We provide a CPD allowance of a minimum of £500, which is flexible if you wish to study further. We encourage CPD and welcome any ideas to utilize your nursing skills.
