Fertility Nurse - Full time - Band 6 Salary - Private Fertility Clinic - Wolverhampton

This outstanding fertility clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate fertility nurse to become a valued member of their team. With over two decades of successful operation, this clinic boasts a tight-knit and supportive staff eager to welcome a new colleague. The position offers part-time hours, requiring commitment for three days a week, with a competitive band 6 salary as the starting point.

Fertility Nurse - Responsibilities
• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, including monitoring of medication, blood tests,
• Conducting fertility assessments and diagnostic tests, including semen analysis and blood work, and assisting with the interpretation of results.
• Counselling patients on their treatment options, including the risks and benefits of each treatment.
• Coordinating patient care with physicians, embryologists, and other healthcare providers as needed.
• Educating patients on fertility issues and treatments, including the administration of fertility medications.
• Administering injections, including subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Assisting in egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and other fertility procedures.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participating in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge of current fertility treatments and technologies.
• Ensuring that all patient care is delivered in compliance with clinic policies and procedures.

Fertility Nurse - Requirements
• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Minimum 1 years' Experience in fertility nursing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of current fertility treatments and technologies.
