Mental Health Nurse required in Royston, Hertfordshire
up to £42,200 per annum (Newly qualified nurses will also be considered)
Days and Nights available
37.5 hours per week plus alternative weekends

Job Overview
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working 37.5 hours a week at within a high dependency rehabilitation service in Royston.This service provides acute and psychiatric intensive care, medium and low secure services and a community-focused rehabilitation

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
  • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • At a more senior level, you'll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

Requirements
  • Hold a relevant Mental Health nursing qualification
  • Be registered with the NMC
  • Have satisfactory references
  • Have the right to work in the UK
