Role Description:

As a Temp Agency Worker - Midwife, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality maternity care to expectant mothers, delivering a range of services from prenatal to postnatal care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of mothers and babies at the West Middlesex University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive midwifery care throughout the maternity journey, including prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care.
Conduct assessments, create personalized care plans, and offer evidence-based support and education to expectant mothers and their families.
Facilitate and assist in labor and delivery, ensuring the safe and positive birthing experience for mothers and babies.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals within the assessment unit, providing timely and accurate assessments of pregnant women.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records and documentation.
Adhere to all NHS policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and data protection.

Requirements:

Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Midwife.
Proven experience and competence in providing comprehensive midwifery care, including prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to offer compassionate care and support to expectant mothers.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks within a dynamic environment.
Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and provide on-call support as required.
