Skills and Responsibilities for Outpatients Senior Staff Nurse:
- Maintain patient admission and treatment confidentiality at all times.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation using approved hospital forms, following NMC and hospital guidelines.
- Adhere to ward and hospital policies and professional standards.
- Provide excellent, evidence-based nursing care for patients.
- Assess, plan, implement patient care, and evaluate the process, accurately documenting each step.
- Participate in effective communication among the multidisciplinary team, other hospital departments, relatives, and visitors.
- Ensure quality care by being familiar with agreed standards and promptly informing seniors if the required standard cannot be reached.
Requirements for Outpatients Senior Staff Nurse:
- Registered Nurse
- Current NMC registration in adult or general nursing
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Professional commitment and self-awareness
- Motivate self and others
- Sound knowledge of current issues in nursing and developments
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
