About the Role:

Are you an ambitious Physiotherapist eager to enhance your expertise in elective Orthopaedics? Join our Award-Winning Private Hospital in Bath and play a key role in the Orthopaedic department. You'll be involved in the entire patient journey, from pre-assessment to follow-up clinics, rehabilitation through hydrotherapy, and educational sessions for patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient care, supporting junior staff and maintaining high clinical standards.
  • Work independently within clinical guidelines, with peer supervision.
  • Diagnose and treat complex conditions, recommending interventions and referrals.
  • Prepare comprehensive transfer documentation for external physiotherapy management.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Efficiently manage a patient caseload, prioritizing clinical needs.
  • Provide advice and teaching to patients, relatives, and caregivers.
  • Offer specialist training on Musculoskeletal conditions to hospital staff.
  • Train, supervise, and manage junior staff and physiotherapy assistants.
  • Assess patient capacity, obtain consent, and work within legal frameworks.
  • Participate in data collection and maintain professional conduct.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and HPC registration.
  • Ability to adapt rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • (Desirable) Clinical placements/rotations in NHS/Private sector.
  • (Desirable) Post-graduate experience in elective Orthopaedics.
