Registered Nurse - Outpatient position in Northwood

Location: Northwood, Private Hospital

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £34,000 per annum

A private hospital in Northwood is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join its Outpatient team. The hospital is looking for a highly skilled professional to play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to patients throughout their outpatient journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients in the outpatient setting.
  • Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitoring and assessing patient conditions, providing timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
  • Educating patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of outpatient procedures and examinations.
  • Ensuring compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards in the outpatient setting.
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Upholding the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with a valid NMC registration.
  • Previous experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting is desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Knowledge of relevant clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
