Essential Qualifications for Registered Nurse - Recovery:
• NMC professional registration.
• Registered Nurse (Level 1).
• Awareness of research and evidence-based practice in the clinical setting.
• Essential airway management skills.
• Clear understanding of pain and pain control.
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
• Intravenous Therapy Skills.
• Interest & academic ability to undertake further training within a particular specialty.
• IT skills and experience in the use of computers.

Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse - Recovery:
• Provide and maintain the highest standard of nursing care for patients and their families.
• Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring accurate documentation and patient-centered handovers.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes and proposing necessary adjustments to the care plan.
• Direct and participate in the maneuvering and positioning of patients.
• Ensure effective communication among healthcare professionals, promoting harmonious working relationships and safe practices.
• Administer oral drugs and undergo relevant drug administration training.
• Contribute to the safe custody, storage, and control of all drugs at ward level.
• Develop progressing knowledge of common conditions, their management, and treatment.
• Assist with the safe care and custody of patients' property and valuables.
• Implement nursing procedures in accordance with Clinical Governance policies.
• Collect statistical information, participate in audits, and attend educational audit processes.
• Act in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and contribute to investigating complaints/untoward incidents.
