Staff Nurse - RGN / RMN / RNLD Qualified - up to £35,956.50 per annum

Job Overview:
This charitable organisation requires a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team.The selected nurse will work within a neurological care centre in the Hertfordshire countryside that provides care to residents aged 18 and over.

As a nurse at this service, you will build on your existing skill set, practicing in a nurse-led environment, developing complex decision making and collaborative skills - to name but a few! You will make a difference to our Residents at a time of their life when they may feel the most vulnerable, and they will look to you to guide and support them in life-changing decisions, which is a humbling and unbelievably rewarding part of the role.

You will have a passion to mentor and share your knowledge with your Colleagues, along with providing support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. You will understand the importance of effective communication, both verbally and written, and role model professional behaviours. You will advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for the people living in our care home and their families.

Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
  • Wound management
  • Administering oxygen
  • Putting together treatment plans
  • Overseeing a team of care assistants
  • Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Nurse Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant nursing qualification
  • Be registered with the NMC
  • Have satisfactory references
  • Have the right to work in the UK
