Private Hospital, Guildford Full Time - Permanent Salary: Up to £39,000 (dependent on experience, training, and qualification)
This is a full-time role, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Registered Nurse to join the Wards department within this leading healthcare institution.

Senior Registered Nurse - Wards - Responsibilities:
• Ensure consistent maintenance of patient care standards in accordance with operational policies and procedures.
• Uphold and enhance customer service and satisfaction for service users.
• Advocate for the well-being and interests of patients, employees, and consultants, acting as a mentor to junior team members.
• Deputize for the Sister/Charge Nurse and lead clinical shifts when required.
• Provide individualized patient care, maintaining excellent standards.
• Act as a safeguarding advocate for patients, speaking up when concerns about care arise.
• Conduct oneself professionally in accordance with NMC and HCPC Codes of Professional Conduct.

Senior Registered Nurse - Wards Key Requirements:
• Registered General Nurse Level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing Studies.
• Previous senior role experience in surgical wards.
• Evidence of relevant clinical professional development, ideally certified RN with valid NMC Registration.
• Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
• Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
• Excellent clinical applied knowledge based on evidence and national best practice standards.
• Basic workload/shift management skills.
• Understanding of workload and shift management.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
• Minimum 18 months post-registration experience.
