A Private Hospital in Blackheath is a leading private hospital renowned for its commitment to exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Practitioner specializing in scrub roles to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and innovative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and maintaining a safe surgical environment.
Assisting the surgical team during operations, anticipating their needs and providing support as required.
Preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use and in good working condition.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth flow of surgical procedures and optimal patient outcomes.
Participating in the monitoring and evaluation of surgical practices to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with valid NMC or HCPC registration.
- Significant experience working as a Theatre Practitioner specializing in scrub roles.
- Excellent understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
