Care Coordinator – Domiciliary Care & Supported AccommodationAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and organised Care Coordinator to join a growing care provider based in Tunbridge Wells.
The organisation currently delivers approximately 800–900 hours of domiciliary care each week and is also developing its Supported Accommodation provision.
We are looking for a proactive, organised and hands-on Care Coordinator who can help ensure the smooth day-to-day delivery of the service, while supporting the wider management team as the organisation continues to grow.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced role, is confident coordinating staff and care packages, and wants to develop their career within adult social care.
The Role Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will coordinate the delivery of care services, ensuring people receive their planned support from appropriately trained and reliable care staff.
You will play a key role in managing rotas, staff availability, service-user requirements and day-to-day changes, ensuring the service continues to operate efficiently and safely.

You will play a key role in managing rotas, staff availability, service-user requirements and day-to-day changes, ensuring the service continues to operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of domiciliary care services.
- Prepare and manage staff rotas and schedules.
- Ensure care visits are appropriately staffed and delivered as planned.
- Coordinate changes to care packages and respond to short-notice staffing requirements.
- Liaise with care staff, service users, families and professionals.
- Monitor staff attendance, availability and annual leave.
- Arrange appropriate cover for sickness and staff shortages.
- Ensure care hours are delivered in line with commissioned packages.
- Maintain accurate records and care documentation.
- Support the Registered Manager with audits, compliance and quality assurance.
- Assist with safeguarding concerns and ensure issues are escalated appropriately.
- Support the recruitment, induction and onboarding of new care staff.
- Help monitor staff training and compliance.
- Willing to work occasional shifts on the floor as well as office-based administrative duties.
- Maintain strong communication between the office, care team and people receiving support.
- Support the development of the organisation's Supported Accommodation provision.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Registered Manager.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience within domiciliary care, homecare, supported living or a similar adult social care setting.
- Experience coordinating care staff, rotas or care packages.
- Good understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong IT and administrative skills.
- The ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- A proactive approach and willingness to get involved.
- Good knowledge of care planning and service delivery.
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
