Group Care Home Manager
Location: Maidstone Area, Kent
Salary: £65,000 per annum (+ performance bonus)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting a Group Care Home Manager to oversee an established portfolio of residential care homes across Kent. This is a senior operational role within a well-established, family-originated care provider operating multiple homes across Kent and Medway. The successful candidate will provide governance oversight, management support, and operational leadership across multiple sites.
The Role
Oversee governance inspections and audits across the care home portfolio
Provide temporary operational cover in the absence of individual Home Managers
Conduct Home Manager supervisions and appraisals
Support Home Managers with HR matters and staff management
Advise senior leadership on operational issues across the homes
Liaise with local authorities, CQC, and NHS partners
Ensure company policies, procedures, and CQC standards are consistently met
Review finance forms for prospective residents and authorise requisitions
Requirements
Proven experience managing or overseeing multiple CQC-regulated care homes
Experience managing a large residential care home — essential
Strong knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act and CQC framework
Excellent leadership, governance, and operational management skills
Experience across older adults, dementia, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities
The Service
Group of 10 residential care homes across Kent and Medway
Adults over and under 65, dementia, learning disabilities, physical disabilities
Commutable Areas
Maidstone, Ashford, Canterbury, Chatham, Sittingbourne, Faversham, Tonbridge and surrounding areas.
