Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join a well-established and expanding children's residential care provider. This role offers the chance to lead a specialist home supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.

The Role As the Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the home, ensuring exceptional standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
You will lead and develop a dedicated staff team while creating a stable, nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive, achieve positive outcomes, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the children's home.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
  • Lead, motivate, supervise, and develop the staff team.
  • Promote a therapeutic, child-centred approach to care.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Oversee safeguarding, care planning, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Manage referrals, admissions, staffing, and occupancy.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, education providers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage budgets and operational performance.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide effective leadership when required.
About You We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people.

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience managing an Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding children's home.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for children.
  • Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 12 months.
