Are you an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready for your next step? We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist children’s residential home in the Crewe area, supporting 4 young people up to 17 years old with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The Role As Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of the home, leading a dedicated team and ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead, motivate and develop a small, dedicated staff team.
- Ensure the home meets and maintains Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote excellent safeguarding practice and ensure young people are kept safe.
- Develop a stable, nurturing and positive environment for young people.
- Support children and young people with EBD, trauma and attachment difficulties.
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, behaviour support plans and daily records.
- Build strong professional relationships with social workers, families, education providers and other agencies.
- Manage staffing, rotas, supervisions and staff development.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain inspection readiness.
- Lead by example and create a positive culture within the home.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's home.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Childcare / Children & Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to enrol.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and children's residential legislation.
- Experience supporting young people with EBD, trauma, attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A calm and consistent approach when managing challenging situations.
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Flexibility to work as required by the service, including some evenings, weekends and nights.
- Up to £62,700 per annum, depending on experience
