Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of a 2-bed children's home
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
- Promote outstanding safeguarding and person-centred care practices
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing staff team
- Oversee care planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes
- Maintain strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals
- Drive positive outcomes for children and support continuous service improvement
- Ensure the home is fully prepared for Ofsted inspections and regulatory compliance
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential home
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Experience supporting children with EBD, Learning Disabilities, or complex needs
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- A child-centred approach with a passion for improving outcomes
