About the Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Registered Managers to lead 2 bed Children's Residential Homes in Birmingham.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing provider with an excellent reputation and a consistent history of Good Ofsted ratings. Whether your experience is within Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) or Learning Disabilities (LD), applications are welcomed from passionate leaders who can create a safe, nurturing, and child-focused environment.

The company is prepared to wait for the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for managers currently serving a notice period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of a 2-bed children's home
  • Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
  • Promote outstanding safeguarding and person-centred care practices
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing staff team
  • Oversee care planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals
  • Drive positive outcomes for children and support continuous service improvement
  • Ensure the home is fully prepared for Ofsted inspections and regulatory compliance

About You To be successful, you will have:
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential home
  • Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
  • Experience supporting children with EBD, Learning Disabilities, or complex needs
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • A child-centred approach with a passion for improving outcomes
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
