Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care
Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum (+ performance bonuses)
Hours: Full-Time
Contract: Permanent

We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a growing domiciliary care service in Huddersfield. The service currently delivers approximately 900 care hours per week with significant new contract growth incoming. This is a hands-on operational role for a driven manager who can maintain compliance, grow the private client base, and build a strong workforce.
The Role
Take full operational responsibility for the domiciliary care service
Ensure CQC compliance, safeguarding, audits, and quality standards are met
Lead and support a team including a Care Coordinator, Field Supervisor, and Admin
Drive private client growth alongside expanding local authority contracts
Lead on staff recruitment and retention — a key priority for this service
Manage care planning, documentation, and service performance
Improve internal operations and office processes
Manage a workforce of approximately 40 care workers
Requirements
Proven experience within domiciliary care management — essential
Strong CQC compliance knowledge and inspection experience
Experience recruiting and retaining care staff
Commercially minded with an appetite for growing private packages
NVQ / Level 5 in Leadership and Management (attained or willing to enrol)
Full UK driving licence — essential
Willing to step up, take ownership, and drive improvement
