Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care & Supported Living
Location: Wirral, Merseyside
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (on-call shared across support team)
Contract: Permanent

We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead an established domiciliary care and supported living service in the Wirral. The service currently delivers 600–800 care hours per week with a strong support structure in place including Care Coordinators, a Nominated Individual, and Director-level oversight. The key priority for this role is stabilising and growing the workforce whilst bringing new clients on board.
The Role
Take full operational responsibility across domiciliary care and supported living
Lead on staff recruitment, onboarding, and retention — a primary focus for this role
Bring new care packages and clients on board to grow the service
Ensure CQC compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards are maintained
Oversee care planning, rotas, documentation, and service performance
Work closely with Care Coordinators, Nominated Individual, and senior leadership
Participate in shared on-call responsibilities across the support team
Requirements
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care and / or supported living — essential
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care — essential
Strong track record in staff recruitment, onboarding, and retention
Experience bringing new clients and packages on board
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle — essential
Self-driven, motivated, and commercially minded
