The Opportunity We are recruiting a dedicated Residential Care Worker to join a 2-bed children's residential home in Salisbury, supporting young people aged 8–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

- Providing high-quality, child-centred care to children and young people.
- Building positive, trusting relationships and acting as a positive role model.
- Supporting young people with their emotional, social and developmental needs.
- Helping young people develop independence and everyday life skills.
- Supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviours in a calm and consistent manner.
- Following individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Supporting young people with daily activities, education and appointments.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant paperwork.
- Working closely with colleagues and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Some previous experience working with children and young people.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them achieve positive outcomes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to remain calm and positive when dealing with challenging situations.
- A caring, patient and reliable approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
