What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Deputy Manager or Senior Care role within a residential care setting.
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification (QCF) in Health and Social Care.
- A confident leader with the ability to support, motivate and develop a team.
- A person-centred approach to care and a strong understanding of CQC standards.
- Organisational and communication skills that ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- A passion for high-quality care and a drive for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and support are consistently delivered.
- Supervise and mentor care staff, providing leadership and guidance.
- Assist with care planning, risk assessments and care reviews.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Manage staffing rotas and contribute to recruitment and development processes.
