About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious and driven individual to lead a brand-new domiciliary care service in Burnley. This is a fantastic chance for an experienced Deputy Manager or Care Coordinator ready to step into a Registered Manager position.
You’ll be responsible for registering the service with CQC, building the service from the ground up, and creating a care team committed to delivering outstanding home care across the local community.

You’ll be responsible for registering the service with CQC, building the service from the ground up, and creating a care team committed to delivering outstanding home care across the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the CQC registration process for the new service
- Develop and implement operational policies and care delivery frameworks
- Recruit, develop, and manage a brand-new team of care staff
- Grow the business from 0 care hours to an established service
- Maintain CQC compliance and manage future inspections
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities
- Provide daily operational management and leadership
- Previous management or supervisory experience in domiciliary care
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Ability to manage a service start-up process and drive business development
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferred
- Experience of registering a service with CQC
- Competitive salary from £30,000 – £40,000 per annum
