About the role
You'll oversee the day-to-day running of the home, lead a dedicated care team, and ensure the highest standards of care for our young residents. From developing individual care plans to owning Ofsted compliance, you'll be a visible, inspiring presence — a strong role model who gets results through people.

What you'll be doing
- Leading and managing a team of care staff, including supervisions and appraisals
- Ensuring full regulatory compliance and Ofsted readiness
- Championing safeguarding across every aspect of the home
- Developing personalised care plans tailored to each young person's needs
- Managing budgets, rotas, and on-call duties
- Creating a culture rooted in respect, inclusion, and opportunity
- Experience in a leadership role within children's residential care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards it)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, the Children Act, and childcare theory
- Proven line management experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Up to £50,000 per year
