Location: Southampton
Rate: £30,225
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting a Care Coordinator to join a growing domiciliary care service in Southampton. This is a hands-on coordination role suited to an organised, proactive care professional who enjoys managing staff, coordinating care delivery, and ensuring excellent outcomes for service users.

The Role

Create and manage staff rotas using electronic rostering systems
Allocate care visits efficiently to meet service user needs
Liaise with service users, families, care staff, and healthcare professionals
Respond to changes in care needs and manage emergency cover
Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new care workers
Monitor attendance, punctuality, and staff availability
Maintain accurate care records and compliance documentation
Support quality assurance, spot checks, and care reviews
Assist the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations
Participate in on-call rota where applicable

Requirements

Previous experience within domiciliary care — essential
Experience coordinating care staff or managing rotas — essential
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle — essential
Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills
Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (desirable)
Knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards and safeguarding (desirable)
Must have the right to work in the UK
