Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care
Location: Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire
Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time

We are recruiting an Registered Manager to lead an established domiciliary care service in Hoddesdon. The service currently delivers approximately 2,000 care hours per week and holds local authority contracts across three counties, including as sole provider on key packages. This is a growth-focused leadership role for an experienced manager who can build on a strong foundation and increase care hours, supported by a full management structure.
The Role
Take full operational responsibility for the domiciliary care service
Drive growth in care hours through existing local authority relationships and new packages
Maintain and develop relationships with commissioners across three county councils
Ensure CQC compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards are maintained
Lead and develop the management team, including the Deputy Manager, Care Coordinators, and Field Care Supervisor
Oversee care planning, rotas, documentation, and service performance
Work closely with the Operations Director on strategy and performance
Requirements
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care
Experience managing a service delivering a minimum of 1,500 care hours per week
Track record of growing care hours and developing local authority relationships
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (preferred)
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle — essential
