Dual Registered Manager – Children's Residential Homes (EBD) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dual Registered Manager or Registered Manager looking to step up to join an ambitious and growing children's residential care provider during an exciting period of expansion.
This is a rare opportunity to oversee two established children's homes in Milton Keynes. The homes, a 2-bed and 3-bed Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) provision, are located just a short drive apart.

You'll be joining an organisation with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, therapeutic care, with its existing homes achieving Good Ofsted ratings. You'll also benefit from the support of an experienced senior leadership team, including a dedicated Responsible Individual, clinical specialists, and operational support.

The Role As the Dual Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of both homes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager with a strong track record of achieving positive Ofsted outcomes, and developing high-performing teams.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in shaping the culture of both homes, ensuring they provide safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities  
  • Oversee the day-to-day management and operational performance of both services.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements.
  • Promote trauma-informed and child-centred practice throughout both homes.
  • Ensure safeguarding remains at the heart of all decision-making and practice.
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, behaviour support strategies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, education providers, healthcare professionals, and families.
  • Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections, driving continuous improvement and excellent outcomes.
  • Support the ongoing growth and development of the organisation.
About You We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and developing outstanding services.

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated children's home.
  • Experience managing or supporting multiple services, or the ability to successfully oversee dual registration.
  • Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, safeguarding, and Ofsted expectations.
  • Experience opening, registering, or developing children's homes is highly desirable.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
