The Opportunity We are currently recruiting an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a 3-bed residential children's home supporting young people aged 8–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the children's home.
- Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated team of residential childcare staff.
- Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for young people.
- Maintain high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments and individual support plans.
- Build positive relationships with young people, families, social workers and other professionals.
- Support staff through regular supervision, training and professional development.
- Monitor the quality of care and drive continuous improvement across the service.
- Experience working within a children's residential care setting.
- Previous management experience as a Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step.
- Experience supporting children and young people with EBD or complex needs.
- A good understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and children's residential care standards.
- Relevant residential childcare qualifications, or be currently working towards them.
- A willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, if not already achieved.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Salary up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
