We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead an established residential and dementia care home in the Bridgend area on behalf of a well-established, family-run care provider. This is a hands-on leadership role offering autonomy, a supportive senior team, and the opportunity to drive high standards across a respected service.
The Role
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential service
Ensure full compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations and safeguarding standards
Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and team development
Oversee care planning, records, and documentation
Monitor occupancy and support sustainable service performance
Build and maintain relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
Drive continuous improvement in care quality and service delivery
Requirements
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager ready to step up
NVQ / QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
Strong knowledge of CIW regulatory requirements
Background in residential and / or dementia care
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
