An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Operations to join an established care provider at a pivotal stage of its growth.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and operational management of a growing Supported Living service, helping to secure CQC registration and shape the future of the organisation's adult care provision.
The organisation has an established presence and is investing heavily in the continued growth of its supported living services. They are looking for an experienced operational leader who can work autonomously, drive quality, and build a successful service from the ground up.
The Role Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the operational development of the Supported Living division, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations while driving quality, growth, and excellent outcomes for the people supported.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational development and growth of the Supported Living service.
- Support and oversee the organisation's CQC registration process.
- Ensure services operate in full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice.
- Develop and implement robust operational systems, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor quality assurance, audits, governance, and compliance.
- Lead, coach, and develop managers and support teams.
- Drive occupancy growth and support business development opportunities.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and service quality.
- Support continuous improvement across all areas of the service.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience managing Supported Living or Adult Social Care services.
- Experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC-regulated service.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Experience supporting service growth, mobilisation, or business development.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care (or equivalent), or Registered Nurse qualification suitable for CQC registration.
- Ability to work independently and lead operational development with minimal supervision.
- Salary of £50,000 – £55,000, depending on experience.
- £3,000 bonus following successful CQC registration.
