We are currently seeking an experienced, driven, and highly capable Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Warrington.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious leader with a strong background in children’s residential care and experience managing or supporting Ofsted inspections. You will take full ownership of the service, build and develop a high-performing team, and drive the home towards achieving a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding standards and children’s home regulations
- Lead staff recruitment, development, and supervision
- Oversee care planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external professionals and agencies
- Maintain full inspection readiness at all times
- Drive positive outcomes and progress for children in care
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting
- Strong experience supporting children with EBD and complex behaviours
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
- Experience preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of improving standards
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Resilient, professional, and child-focused approach
- Previous Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- Experience managing referrals and occupancy levels
- Understanding of therapeutic care approaches
- Salary from £80,000 per annum (depending on experience)
