About the Opportunity We’re delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a high-quality, well-established care provider with a proven record of achieving ‘Outstanding’ ratings with CQC. They are now opening a brand-new 3-bed EBD children’s home in Nottingham and are looking for an experienced, passionate Registered Manager to lead the home from the very beginning.

Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the registration, leadership, and day-to-day running of a 3-bed EBD home.
- Provide high-quality care and support that promotes positive outcomes and emotional wellbeing for young people.
- Recruit, train, and lead a skilled staff team who share a commitment to providing outstanding care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements under Ofsted and company policy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and professionals.
- Oversee care planning, audits, and reporting to ensure continuous improvement.
- Create a safe, supportive home where children feel valued, respected, and able to thrive.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or senior role within a residential children’s home.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and EBD support.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to build a positive team culture.
- Passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
