An established care provider is seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Lead (RGN) to provide strong clinical leadership within a well-established care home in Croydon. This is a key leadership role focused on delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care, while supporting nursing teams and ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance and compliance.
The Role
- Provide visible clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
- Oversee and ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
- Lead on care planning, risk assessments, and clinical decision-making
- Monitor and improve key clinical indicators (falls, wounds, infections, weight loss)
- Manage medication systems and clinical audits
- Support residents with complex needs, including dementia, frailty, and palliative care
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead clinical supervision, appraisals, and competency assessments
- Support inspection readiness and drive continuous improvement
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
- Strong clinical experience within elderly care settings
- Previous experience in a Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse role
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead and support multidisciplinary teams

- Experience managing inspections and achieving positive outcomes
- Knowledge of clinical audits and quality assurance frameworks
- Understanding of resource and budget management
