Registered Children's Home Manager - Children's Homes Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 - Chelmsford Area - Full time
We are excited to be working with a fantastic Residential Children's Service who is looking to expand their service and bring on an experienced Registered Children's Manager for thier new home. As Home Manager, you'll take the lead in a therapeutic residential children's home in the Chelmsford Area.
About the Role
This role is pivotal in ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented and that the highest standards of care are maintained. The Registered Children's Home Manager will lead a team of professionals in a residential home setting, fostering a nurturing atmosphere for both staff and children. The successful candidates past/current inspection report will be viewed in the Ofsted portal. the duties are outlined below although they are not limited to the duties listed below;

Registered Children's Home Manager Duties:
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulatory standards.
- Manage daily operations within the residential home, including staff scheduling and resource allocation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a culture of excellence in practices.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and wellbeing, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for each child.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with legal requirements, OFSTED standards and organisational policies.
- Foster an environment that encourages personal development for both staff and children through training and support initiatives.
- Proven experience in managing care services within a children's setting, such as home care or assisted living.
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff, children, and families.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to children's care services.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
