An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic Children's Residential Home in Doncaster.

š¹ Key Responsibilities
⢠Lead and manage the day to day operations of the children's home
⢠Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations 2015
⢠Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times
⢠Provide strong, nurturing and therapeutic leadership to the staff team
⢠Develop positive relationships with children, families, professionals and external agencies
⢠Lead recruitment, supervision, performance management and staff development
⢠Promote reflective practice and trauma informed approaches throughout the service
⢠Oversee care planning, risk assessments and statutory documentation
⢠Manage staffing rotas and participate in the on call system when required
⢠Monitor budgets, resources and service performance
⢠Ensure the home provides a safe, warm and supportive environment for all young people
ā Requirements
⢠Minimum of 2 years' experience working within Residential Children's Social Care
⢠At least 1 year's experience in a supervisory, deputy manager or management position
⢠Strong knowledge of Children's Home Regulations and relevant legislation
⢠Experience of safeguarding and supporting children with complex needs
⢠Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
⢠Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards this
⢠Understanding of trauma informed practice, attachment based care and therapeutic approaches
⢠Ability to lead, motivate and develop a high performing team
⢠Full UK Driving Licence
⢠Ability to successfully complete an Ofsted Fit Person Interview
⢠Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references required
