Location: Bedford area
Salary: £30,750 – £32,800 per annum
Employment Term: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Overview
A supported living provider in the Stevenage area is seeking a dedicated Supported Living Service Manager to oversee services supporting adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
This is a well-supported management role, ideal for someone with experience in supported living who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and promoting independence.
About the Role
As Supported Living Service Manager, you will oversee a small caseload of approximately 5–6 clients, ensuring high-quality support tailored to individual needs.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager / Registered Manager to ensure services remain compliant, safe, and focused on positive outcomes for the people supported.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day management of supported living services
Support adults with mental health conditions and learning disabilities
Ensure delivery of safe, person-centred support plans
Supervise and support care staff and support workers
Maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards
Monitor documentation, care planning, and risk assessments
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
Requirements
Previous experience within supported living, mental health, or learning disabilities services
Experience in a senior or management-level care role
Good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding
Strong communication and leadership skills
Organised and proactive approach to service delivery
